European countries are demanding explanations from the Russian Foreign Ministry. In the Czech Republic and Sweden, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zaharova said that a neuro-toxic substance,with which Sergei and Julia Skripal were poisoned is produced in four European countries.

Zakharova named in the UK, Slovakia, Czechia, Sweden and the United States as Novichok producing countries. In Prague and Stockholm, this statement was assessed as unreasonable speculation and they advised Moscow to answer official London questions.

The UK government blames the Russian government and personally Vladimir Putin in the use of neuro-toxic substances in the country.
