"Next week the Parliament of Georgia will definitely return to the issue of gender quotas," Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze said as the legislative body has recently failed to approve a bill on gender quotas.

Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists after the end of the polls that the parliamentary majority will discuss the issue of gender quotation but they will discuss not the draft law developed by non-governmental organizations but the project drafted by the ruling team.
