Will the price of bread increase?

The Ministry of Agriculture has stated that a rise in the price of bread is unexpected. This statement was made after the price for some types of bread increased.

Some bakeries have taken a decision to increase the price of bread. The price for certain types of bread has increased by 5-10 tetri in city supermarkets and stores.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Omar Kacharava stated that the price change was taken out by private companies only and that the Ministry can not apply administrative measures to to the private sector. The Deputy Minister stated that the country has sufficient reserves of wheat and there is no reason for a price increase.
