The European Union is preparing for new sanctions against Russia, stated German Chancellor, Angela Merkely, on a trip to Brussels.

"The Minsk Agreements are seriously violated. The Council of Europe and the European Commission are ready to start work on new sanctions."

US officials have also left for the consultations with their European counterparts. Assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland made a speech at Congress and briefed the lawmakers about the thousands of Russian troops in Ukraine.

The Minsk Agreements have been violated again in Donbass, with shooting starting back up around the Donetsk airport.
At the same time ,the Dutch prosecutor`s office released a report stating that the crash of Malaysia airliner was caused by a Russian "Buck" type of rocket.
