Salome Zurabichvili is likely to be the favourite of the ruling party for the presidential elections.

Zviad Dzidziguri, the leader of the faction of the majority, made the first statement of support today.

The leader of Conservatives says that Salome Zurabichvili is an ally of Georgian Dream and his party will support her for presidential elections.

The ruling party avoided to support her openly at this time.

"Our faction - Conservatives, which is a partner of Georgian Dream coalition, will be pleased to support Mrs Salome Zurabishvili"s candidacy," Dzidziguri said.
