At the moment, a rally of IDPs ins underway at the Ministry of Refugees and IDPs (MRA). The protesters are demanding the legalization of apartments or 50,000 GEL compensation. According to them, they have been living in Varketili 2nd district for more than 20 years and still could not legalize their living space. They say that the owners of the apartments ask for 25,000 from them.

This fact is categorically denied by the MRA. Ministry officials said that some of the apartments have already been bought for 25 thousand per apartment. The registration of the space will take place in the near future. The negotiations with the owners on the remaining part of the apartments are being conducted.
