The new composition of the pardon commission will be announced by January 14.The Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia, Lasha Zhvania made this statement.He said that President Salome Zourabichvili will select the composition of the Pardon Commission and will introduce it to the public in the near future.
The majority of members of the pardoning commission left the composition on the basis of their own application. The new members of the commission are still unknown.
The year 2019 was the first when the President has not released the New Year pardon act.
Salome Zourabichvili made the prison door open for only three prisoners.
