Christmas tradition - Alilo participants prepare for march

Traditional Alilo march will be held in the capital of Georgia today. The procession starts at 14:00 on the first Republic Square.

Alilo participants will march on Rustaveli Avenue, Freedom Square, Pushkin and Baratashvili streets. The procession will end at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
One group will go to the President"s Residence at Atonel where Salome Zourabichvili, the President of Georgia will present them gifts.

Today traffic will be restricted on some streets of Tbilisi.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, traffic movement will be restricted from 11:00 am in the surrounding area of the First Republic Square.
From 14:00, the movement will be prohibited on Rustaveli Avenue, Pushkin Street, Baratashvili street, Avlabari Square, Meskhishvili, Gonashvili and Samreklo streets.
