According to the new survey by the International Republican Institute (IRI),  the number of respondents who believe that the country is developing in the right direction has reduced by 23% in comparison with the last year, while the number of those who think that the country is moving in the wrong direction has increased by 22%.

Only 25 percent of survey participants responded positively to the question if the country was going in the right direction. Georgian media reported that 55% of respondents said that the country was developing in the wrong direction. While 20% had no answer to this question.

According to the survey, 62% of respondents believe that the economic situation has deteriorated in the last two months in Georgia. According to the survey, only 7% of survey participants believe that the economic situation has improved, while 29% said that the economic situation in the country remained at the same level.

According to the survey, 62% of respondents believe that the crime situation has worsened. 11 percent said it had improved, 25% think it is the same.
