The Family of Maia Verdzadze accuse doctors of incompetence and ill-treatment.

Reportedly the doctors at Batumi Maternity House refused to make Caesarian operation in spite of heavy condition of the pregnant patient-Maia Verdzadze. The baby died, because of late treatment young woman died too.

The doctors who participated in operation don"t comment on the incident. The Ministry of Health got involved in the death of a pregnant woman in Batumi. According to the Minister, the Ministry of Health regulatory agency representatives are already in place and have already started looking into the case.

Maya Verdzadze died this morning after surgery. Her friends accused hospital doctors of incompetence.

Rustaveli avenue in Batumi was blocked for several hours by the family members and relatives of the deceased.
