Citizens detained for illegally obtaining tax-exempt status

The Investigation agency of the Finance Ministry together with tax revenue service detained four people for illegally obtaining minimum income tax-exempt. Criminal prosecution has been launched against 5 citizens.

According to the Agency, theinvolved citizens were going to illegally obtain income tax-exempt. More than 1,700 people were involved in the fraud. The Investigation Agency says that the financial damage is about half a million lari.
