The President of Georgia does not specify whether she will pardon Giorgi Mamaladze.

Today Salome Zourabichvili told reporters that she does not understand these endless talks about the Deacon.

"When a pardon will be issued, everyone will find out who is in the pardon. It would not be right for us to talk only about Mamaladze. Honestly, I do not understand, why such a focus is on Mamaladze. Why we have such endless talks about him”, - said the President.
The Patriarchate of Georgia addressed the President with the recommendation of pardoning Giorgi Mamaladze about a month ago.
