Five people were killed in a car accident in Chakvi. 
According to the Emergency Management Service the car fell into a ravine, which resulted in the death of all the passengers. 
The bodies have been recovered from the ravine and are being identified.
Reportedly, all the deceased were 17-year-old classmates.
The MIA has launched an investigation under Article 276, Section 8 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, involving the violation of traffic safety rules or rules for operating transport, which resulted in the death of a person.
