The trial of the former head of the State Security Service of Georgia [SSSG] is underway at the Tbilisi City Court.

The defendant himself, Grigol Liluashvili, will be questioned during today's session.

The former head of the SSSG was arrested on December 23. He is charged with accepting an exceptionally large bribe as part of a group acting by prior agreement, an offense that carries a prison sentence of 11 to 15 years.
