Vazha Gaprindashvili and his wife met with the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia.
Ekaterine Tikaradze personally congratulated them on his release.
According to her, the safety of each doctor in the system is critically important for the Ministry and her personally.
“The support of our foreign partners, international organizations, is significant. Everything was done so that the interests of our population, Georgia, were protected, and the interests of our citizen Vazha Gaprindashivli, who is free.
His release is a great joy not only for his relatives but for the whole country. I would like to thank the relevant state agencies, the international community, and civic activists.
We especially want to congratulate the family of Doctor Vazha, who has shown an example of strength, dignity, and integrity to the entire society”, - said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
Vazha Gaprindashvili thanks everyone for his support. He said that he did not expect such support.
“These 50 days were very emotional. I didn’t really expect such unity and support”, - said Vazha Gaprindashvili.
