The Prime Minister summarized the results of current reforms - the eradication of corruption was named as the main factor of economic growth

In July of this year, the economy grew by 8%, and consequently, the economic growth for the first 7 months of this year reached 7.9%. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

As he noted, this means that a high rate of economic growth is being maintained.

"We have positive dynamics in all of these directions. Very important changes and reforms were implemented in various fields related to economic development. This applies to logistics, transport, communications, energy, tourism, and many other sectors. Of course, one of the main reasons for these economic indicators is precisely this progress in various branches and directions of the economy.

Furthermore, the fight against corruption is yielding results, and one of the reasons why we managed to improve the economic growth rate compared to last year is precisely this - we managed to eradicate corruption at the high level of government, and we continue the fight against corruption at all levels", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
