Premiere of Mad Max: Fury Road held in Los Angeles

Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, director George Miller and cast attended the premiere of Mad Max: Fury Road on Thursday in Hollywood.

Mel Gibson also made an unexpected appearance, the actor-director played the original Max Rockatansky in the 1979 fill, a role that has been filled by British actor Tom Hardy.

Mad Max: Fury Road, opens May 15.
