Village Ghvankiti in Terjola municipality of Imereti, put under lockdown and quarantined from 6:00am today.
According to the local government, the decision was made to prevent large-scale spread of COVID-19.
Five checkpoints have been set up, which will be patrolled by the police force.
705 families with 2 438 people live in Ghvankiti village. 4 more people tested positive for the coronavirus. There are a total of 10 infected people in the village.
