All kinds of municipal transport services – including Tbilisi Metro – have been resumed throughout Georgia from today, may 29.
In municipal transport vehicles, passengers will be required to wear face masks. Drivers will not be able to turn on air conditioners in buses and minibuses, they will have to move with open windows.
New rules will be supervised by the managers of relevant transport services and owners of private transport vehicles.
As part of the preventive measures against coronavirus, operation of public transport was suspended on March 30, and the minibuses on March 18.
