Tbilisi City Court fully agreed with the Appeal of the Old Tbilisi District Prosecutor"s Office, revoked the acquittal of the Tbilisi City Court and found M.D. guilty of rape attempt.

According to the evidence examined in the court, it was established that M.D., on August 7, 2017 attempted to rape his acquaintance M.Kh., at what time the victim managed to escape.

It should be noted that the Tbilisi City Court, by the rule of July 9, 2019, M.D. acquitted him of the charges, which was appealed by the prosecution.

Tbilisi Court of Appeal found M.D. guilty in the presented charges and sentenced him to 6 years in prison.
