Public Defender delivers a report at the Palace of President

The Public Defender delivers a speech about the final document of 2014 at the Palace of President. Giorgi Margvelashvili attends a meeting.

A Recommendation concerns the activities of law enforcement agencies and problems connected with their work. The report also discusses the lack of a culture of tolerance in the country and the facts of violence against women.

The president explained that one of the main issues is crime committed by the employees of Prosecutor`s Office or other law enforcement agencies.

" I think that it is related to the reform of the Prosecutor"s Office. I will not discuss the ways ,how this reform should be carried out, but it should be implemented,"- Giorgi Margvelashvili stated.

The Deputy Interior Minister thinks that there is no need to create an independent investigative mechanism to explore a work of law enforcement bodies.
