The participants of the "Open Government Partnership" conference were addressed by the Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Parliament, who spoke about the importance of open government.

As the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia said it is important for the citizens to have the information on what laws the Parliament is adopting and how these laws would affect their lives.

"I am proud that I am a representatives of the political party , that has recently taken effective steps in this direction and today we, a relatively young state , are among advanced states who are taking this initiative to a new level, and are furthering its spread throughout the world," -  stated Usupashvili.
