Exclusive-Georgia in the black list of International Civil Aviation

International Civil Aviation black list, which became available for the "Courier" confirms that Georgia has been for 2 years listed among 13 countries that fail to meet the "ICAO" standards.

The reason the problems with the international organization are the safety certificates issued with violation of standards in Tbilisi . Therefore, the problem concerns not only the country"s image, but also creates problems for the Georgian air companies.

Domestic operators have to go through a special control to conduct international trips.

Djibouti, Botswana, Papua, New Guinea - are the countries alonside Georgia in the black list.

Another letter, which was sent by the EU was obtained by the "Courier".

The letter says that the expulsion of Georgia from "ICAO" has not been decided yet, but specialists say that the letter is sent in 2013 and since then nothing has changed for Georgian aviation.

If Georgia is expelled from "ICAO" , Georgian Airlines will not be able to conduct flights.
