The European Parliament supports the 2018 World Cup to be removed, if it is proved that Russia illegally obtained the right to host it. The European Parliament has adopted a resolution urging the dismissal of all corrupt FIFA officials and a review of all of the football governing body’s decisions in the last decade, including awarding the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar.The European Parliament in its resolution also calls on the current FIFA President Sepp Blatter to resign immediately.

FIFA has already responde to the EP resolution. The official said in a statement that Blatter would resign at the end of the year, the FIFA Extraordinary Congress in which his successor will be electedis to be held on July 20 .

Now the Swiss and American law enforcement officials are investigating FIFA"s participation in corruption case. The several high-ranking person of the organization are engaged in corruption scheme.
