The United States threatens to increase pressure on Russia.
The United Nations will continue putting pressure on Russia over the Ukraine crisis, said the United States ambassador to the UN Samantha Power after meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv.
"I underscored the very important message out of G7 over the last few days that the sanctions will remain in place against Russia unless and until the Minsk agreements are implemented. And of course the major challenges with that, that we need to continue to put pressure on Russia to ensure, that the process, that has moved too slowly, picks up steam."- said Samantha Power.

Power also stressed that putting an end to fighting in east Ukraine remains a priority for the United States.
