Senator Chris Murphy has unveiled a new foreign policy for the U.S in remarks At Wilson Center. He has  outlined eight, forward-looking foreign policy principles to guide America’s role as a global leader in the 21st Century and avert threats. 

Chris Murphy reiterated the importance of NATO"s open door policy, but noted that Georgia is not yet ready for NATO membership.
