18 in favor and 15 against, - this is the result of voting of the Council of Europe Monitoring Committee. Georgia is not mentioned in the resolution.
The delegation will continue to work at tomorrow"s plenary session and try to mobilize votes.
"There was an attempt to include in the text an amendment mentioning Georgia and our conflicts. Unfortunately, the voting on the question was not positive for us, "- said the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Tedo Japaridze.
The Ukrainian delegation was not satisfied with the text of the resolution as well , as their main demand - Russia"s exclusion from the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly was rejected.
