As a result of special operation, Ukrainian police detained thieves in law - nicknamed “Umka” and “Lasha Svani” (Lasha Jachvliani). According to the local media, they are “the most influential thieves in law”.

As law enforcers said, these individuals formed criminal gangs and managed them through their representatives. They controlled criminals in Dnepropetrovsk, Odesa, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, etc.

Lasha Jachvliani was held at the hotel. He received a criminal title back in 1995. In recent years, he has controlled criminal networks in several districts of Ukraine.
