NBC said it was “ending its business relationship” with Trump, star of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” thanks to his “recent derogatory statements” about immigrants.

The network said “respect and dignity for all people are cornerstones of our values” — and that stance apparently didn’t mesh with Trump’s comments during his kickoff speech that Mexican immigrants are “bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”

Trump  said his comments about immigrants and border security have been taken out of context.
