A Minister of Energy considers  that  increase of electricity tariff is a real threat. Kakhi Kaladze said that if the prices will rise, the government will discuss possibility of subsidies.

GNERC had to take decision today, but the sitting was  postponed for one week. Energy Regulatory Commission shall determine whether the taxes will change for thermal power stations.

 Thermal power plant managers say that  they pay with foreign currency for  natural gas and it leads to large losses .

The representatives of GNERC say that the financial turmoil  can lead to technical instability .
