The President of Georgia expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy which took place on Apakidze Street today. Giorgi Margvelashvili has commented the tragedy via his facebook page.

"I  express my deep sorrow about the death of people as a result of the collapse of the building on Apakidze Street.  I expect the rapid investigation of the reasons of tragedy and  the appropriate response. In this difficult times my thoughts are with the family members  of the victims,"- writes Giorgi Margvelashvili.
