"I urge the Europeans to do everything to reach an agreement with Greece," - Hillary Clinton

Eurogroup President believes that little time is left for providing assistance to Greece. It is stated in Jeroen Dijsselbloem`s official statement.

"There were no new proposals at this point from the Greek minister, and the first step will be that the Greek government will send the Eurogroup a new request; a new request letter for ESM support and as soon as this comes. I will first ask the institutions to look at the financial situation in Greece,, and then the institutions will come back to us and we will see if we can formally start the negotiations. All this has to be done in a matter of days. We have very little time," - Dijsselbloem said.

Before the summit in Brussels, Alexis Tsipras held a telephone conversation with Barack Obama. Greek Prime Minister briefed the President of the United States about the situation.

Obama expressed hope that talks on rendering assistance to Greece would be successfully completed.

The United States presidential candidate Hillary Clinton responded to the situation in Greece.

"It is essential to reach an agreement with Greece and I urge the Europeans to do everything for it ," - she said.
