Another landslide on Tskhneti -Akhaldaba road - localsare leaving homes

Rescuers and police are prepared if necessary to transport 55 families from Akhaldaba.

Vake governer, Lasha Abashidze is ready to provide the locals with accomodation until a new bypass road is constructed.

The landslide has damaged the pipeline as well.

Geological study of Akhldaba area has started this morning. Experts` forecast is not optimistic as they believe that small landslides may be repeated in several sections of the road. Geologists and experts gave recommendations to the government in connection with traffic on the road.
