In January-August 2021 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 2 610.8 million, 26.0% higher year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 72.7% and amounted to USD 1 899.1 million, 28.7% higher to the same period of 2020, reads the report of GeoStat.

In January-August 2021 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 79.5%. The top partners were China (USD 400.1 million), Russia (USD 344.1 million) and Turkey (USD 200.8 million).

In January-August 2021 copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 517.9 million, or 27.3% of total exports. The exports of ferroalloys totaled USD 265.5 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 14.0%. The exports of wine of fresh grapes occupied the third place standing at USD 143.7 million and constituting 7.6% of the total exports.
