Nikoloz Basilashvili has succeeded in reaching the quarterfinals of the ongoing international tournament in Metz city, France.

In the 3-hour match, 29-year-old Georgian tennis player beat his rival, Spanish Alejandro Davidovich 0:6,6:4,7:6 (7:4). In the quarterfinals, Basilashvili will meet French Gael Monfils ranking No.20 globally.

The prize money amounts to EUR 481,270.
