A 25-year-old woman infected with COVID-19 died after a caesarean section in Adjara.

She had been treated at the Batumi Maternity Hospital, but at the request of her family, she was transferred to Turkey when she was 32 weeks pregnant.

As for the baby, he was saved as a result of the caesarean section.
