The banks will be opened in Greece today; however,the restrictions on withdrawal of funds will continue and the weekly limit will be 420 euros.

In addition, the value added tax will be increased. Now, the German government is discussing allocation of additional loan for overcoming the crisis in Greece

The openning of banks became possible since Parliament approved the reform package agreed upon by Prime Minister Tsipras and international lenders, and since the Eurozone allocated 7 billion euros to Athens for the transitional period.
