The GEL 200 incentives will continue in January, and age threshold for incentive eligibility upon vaccination is lowered to 50. This decision was made by today’s meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council chaired by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the Government Administration.

The council’s decision, designed to encourage vaccination among risk groups even further, will come into force on January 1.

The Interagency Coordination Council once again urges citizens to avoid crowded gatherings, wear facemasks, maintain social distancing, and actively engage in the process of vaccination.
