Archaeologists have discovered a geometric mosaic in Gonio. A floor of the bath is decorated with the  colorful mosaic . Historians estimate that it may be  created in the first century AD.  presumably built during the era of the reign of Vespasian .

The specialists say that the discovery is unique. Reportedly it is a high-level mosaic created by militants.

The Georgian and Polish Archaeologists  are conducting excavations in Adjara.
