Will the electricity tariff Increase? - Energy Regulatory Commission to be held today

Whether the electricity tariff will increase in Georgia depends on today`s decision of the Regulatory Commission.

Energy Regulatory Commission should determine the price of gas for hydropower plants. Three companies have addressed the Commission with this request in connection with lari depreciation.

In case of increase of tariif for hydropower plants , the tariff for electricity will increase as well. This Regulatory Commission will discuss this particular topic tomorrow.
