An Irish woman has listed her husband for “sale” on an auction site after he left her at home with the kids to go on a fishing trip, writes INDEPENDANT.

Linda McAlister, who lives in New Zealand along with her husband John and their two kids, said John would remain “loyal provided he’s fed and watered”.

She Linda put up the listing after John went on an impromptu fishing trip for two days, leaving her alone in the house with their two kids.

Linda described John McAlister as a 6’1, 37-year-old farmer. However, the ad simply doesn"t end here. The more you read, the more hilarious it gets. According to a report by The Mirror, Linda, who lives with her family in rural Rangitkei, New Zealand, said the fishing trip was “not unusual behaviour” from her husband, who was a “shootin’, and fishin’ sort of fellow”. However, the trip was inexcusable regarding its timing, considering kids were on school holidays and bed times were “slipping later and later”.
