GNCC conducts school meetings on safer use of the Internet

On the occasion of Safer Internet Day, representatives of the Media Literacy department of the Georgian National Communications Commission conducted meetings on the subject of safe use of the Internet in the schools of Tbilisi, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli.

The aim of the meetings was to protect youngsters from dangers in online space and promote safe navigation of the web.

The youths were introduced to the online app and board game “Happy Onlife”, which allows children, parents and teachers to learn to use digital media safely. The app is designed to enable children and youths to learn to critically assess and analyse online content through play.
