Genady Bestaev, who was released from prison by the occupation regime in critical condition, has passed away.

Bestaev was pardoned by the occupation regime on November 15, 2021. He was detained for crossing the so-called border and drug smuggling.

Genady Bestaev was sentenced to 3 years and 2 months in prison. The occupation regime made a decision to pardon him due to his illness.
