Remains unknown if the tariff on electricity will increase in Tbilisi. Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) has to technically assess Telasi"s application. The discussions will start if the application meets the formal requirements.

Telasi names three arguments in favor of increasing the tariff. This arguments are currency devaluation, rising the cost of purchased electricity and increasing of transmitting the electricity.
