European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement wrote about the telephone conversation with the Head of the Georgian Government on the social network Twitter.

“Had a call with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili this afternoon to discuss the impact of Russian invasion of Ukraine on Georgia and the region. European Union ready to provide support as needed.

We agreed to stay in touch. I also noted PM’s request for EU perspective for Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova”, - tweeted Oliver Varhelyi.
