Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky tells UK leader Boris Johnson that the next 24 hours will be “crucial for Ukraine”, a spokesperson for Johnson says.

Johnson tells Zelensky that the UK and other Western allies will do everything in their power to send defensive aid to Ukraine.

A Ukrainian delegation is set to meet a Russian delegation on Ukraine’s border with Belarus to negotiate, but Zelensky has said he is skeptical of Russian intentions during the talks.
