The Prime Minister of Georgia congratulates the Jewish people on the Passover holiday.

“Congratulations to the Jewish community of Georgia, including our Jewish brothers and sisters who returned to their historic homeland of Israel, to all the Jewish people on the great holiday of the Passover.

This biblical celebration of the Lord’s deliverance of Jews from slavery, physical and spiritual liberation, is symbolic and important to all for whom freedom is the supreme value.

The friendship between Georgians and Jews, which date millennia, is very precious to all of us. Together with our fellow citizens, I join you in your festive mood and wish peace, happiness and prosperity to you and your families”, - reads the statement of Irakli Garibashvili.
