Georgian Railway has unveiled a renovated train station that will connect passengers between cities of the country to the Kutaisi International Airport.

The updated Kopitnari Station will start operating from April 30 and serve passenger trains from different directions. The stop is located near the airport.

The Railway will also provide transportation from the station to the airport itself, with shuttle services taking five minutes to move passengers between the locations. Company said the train fare would include the shuttle service.

The Kopitnari Station has undergone “complete rehabilitation” with modern standards and is tailored to the needs of people with disabilities, the company said.
