Mikheil Saakashvili did not receive the parcel for only one day. Such a statement was released by the Special Penitentiary Service.

“Some media outlets have recently been spreading targeted, defamatory information about the possible poisoning or intoxication of accused / convicted Mikheil Saakashvili with drugs, which serves to demoralize the employees of the Special Penitentiary Service, to discredit their professional activities and to tarnish the image of the agency in the society.

The Special Penitentiary Service is responsible for the safety of each accused / convict.

Former president did not receive the parcel for only 1 day. Mikheil Saakashvili, with his consent, will be able to receive the parcel through the persons responsible for sending the parcel”, - reads the statement.
