Humanitarian aid delivered to Ukraine from Georgia amid the Russian aggression ranked the country 1st among states that sent their packages via mail.

According to the National Post of Ukraine, as of April 20, over 520 tons of aid were delivered by the postage company to Ukraine, with Georgian-originating packages followed by Romania with more than 80 tonnes of parcels and Belgium with 80 tonnes, based on the Ukrposhta national post figures.

Georgia is also among the 14 countries that have enabled individuals and legal entities to send free postal parcels to Ukraine to their preferred recipients since the outbreak of war.
